On this particular machine, the part is loaded onto the conveyor on the right side of the machine. It is then moved to the lift table (center) where it is positioned under the broach bar, the table then lifts the part, pushing it onto the broach bar where the cutting takes place. When the table reaches the top, the broach bar is disconnected, and the part is pushed out (forward) and the table lowers the part back to the conveyor where it is taken out the left side and the process is then repeated. The cycle takes roughly 40 seconds.
